let me tell you a story :
in a city far, far away, there lived a girl-next-door, sophia. sophia was well loved by her parents and siblings. had many friends that love to talk to her and tell her their problems. one day sophia had a big fight with her best friend, mandy. sophia cried that night and told her problems to her friend, adam. adam listened to her problems and started to develop feelings for sophia, but she only sees adam as a big brother and not a guy to begin a relationship. sophia knows adam like her, and slowly, she starts to like adam. she knew that God would not want her to be with adam, but she still got close to him. sophia has been having a bad week. she quarrelled with her mom and sister. things not going well with some of her friends. she feels stressed and extremely tensed up. assignments not done, room isnt cleaned, and a monolgue to write by the end of the week. one day, sophia asked adam, lisa and angel out for a movie. they agreed to meet on that particular day. on that particular day, sophia went to adam's house. angel texted sophia to tell her a few friends of hers will be going to watch the movie together. sophia wanted to cancel the movie date on that day, as she had a last minute appointment to go to. she wanted to inform adam. at adam's house, he expressed his displeasure about having other people going to watch the movie. people he didnt know. sophia felt confused. why was adam, the guy that she thought liked her, was treating her strangely. he wasnt being really friendly. sophia was confused. she recieved a phone call, and had to rush off to another location. sophia went to meet angel. at 6pm, lisa texted sophia saying she couldnt make it. sophia and angel was out with a few guy friends of hers. angel asked the guy friends if they would want to see the movie together. the guy friends were playing pool and ignored her. angel got mad and threw a tantrum. sophia was irritated at everyone being wishy-washy, and she got angry. just then, adam called sophia and asked what time they were suppose to meet. 6pm, sophia said. what? im still at home, replied adam. sophia tried to control herself from screaming. oh, okay. u might not be able to reach in time. since you watched the movie already, do you still wanna come? sophia asked. yeah, now im angry. why didnt inform me the time? why nv organize? adam demanded. sophia sighed. her week hasnt been a really great week and she was feeling tired. angel was throwing a fit, and lisa wasnt coming. adam's behaving strangely and all sophia wants now is for the day to be over. i need to pray, she says. pray and get the passion of God, the fire of God back into my life. im tired to complaining, she said. im tired of losing the vision, she cried. im tired of being the old me, she whispered, tears streaming down her face. sophia decided not to get into a relationship till she's 18. she forgot about adam and moved on in her life. years passed, and sophia grew up to be a gastrologist. one with the fire of God her life, and loving Him wholeheartedly. she became a blessing to others, and recieved back a 1000-fold of what she sowed. and she kept in contact with lisa who is now a world-famous actress that acts in channel-8 dramas. and she lived happily ever after.
