reminds me of Phantom of The Opera.
just what is hiding behind your mask?
just what are you concealing from the world?
just what is it that you are afraid to show?
finished the online Pride and Prejudice ebook.
eh, no joke okay.
staring at the screen, reading 270+ pages gives you a headache.
but i didnt want to stop reading it. hoho.
its such a fab book. :D
manymany thanks to my uncle who actually told me to read the book during CNY.
and i've been procastinating until like, april? -___-
LOL. and after i heard pst tan's sermon, im like "okay, maybe i shld read it."
i read it a bit hastily, like just scanning thru the sentence.
i got the gist of the story anyways.
hmmmm. but i wanna read it again. haha.
more indepth la. :D
xiexie to arabelle, who decided to lend me her Pride and Prejudice book.
she has like, millions in her house? x)
all different versions one. lol.
but im glad im getting it this sunday. (:
when the music fades
all is stripped away
and i simply come...
giving bs getting started this week!
psycheeeed :D
im kinda nervous too can.
i mean, it might seem like fun giving bs but its actually quite tough also.
cos if you're not rooted fully in the word, and dont know it at your fingertips,
when people ask you questions, you wont be able to answer.
and then they'll have a bad impression.
see how serious it is?!
but im glad. cos it makes me rise up more to a great level of maturity.
you know, taking ownership and everything.
of course, we must never forget to go back to our first love. (:
back to the basics; fasting, praying, reading the bible ...
if we do it every night, there wouldnt be such thing as spiritual dryness in your life.
the only reason we're having spiritual dryness is because we dont talk to God.
and this really brought me back to the time when i first started to rise up.
i gave my time, my worship.
and when things got busier, i shoved His hand away.
imagine standing at the edge of the cliff.
you dont know you're gonna fall.
you dont know that you're on the edge.
His hand comes, and He tries to call you back.
"come back! it is dangerous. come back!"
yet, you shove the hand away.
"later! i'll come back later!"
how grieved and hurt God must have felt.
how ignorant we were of His love.
how many times have we said, "later! i'll do my quiet time later!"
or even said, "i'm busy studying now Lord. I'll do it later!"
how many times have we shoved His hand away?
im coming back to the heart of worship
when its all about You
all about you Jesus..
xoxo, k.
