It's 2:32am in the morning and I've just finished watching Becoming Jane! :)
Rented it from some shop in BP Plaza for CNY (together with Stardust, Waterhorse and A Series of Unfortunate Events) and the movie was pretty good! I really loved it. You should catch it if you love the classics like Pride and Prejudice etc. The story revolves around Jane Austen, whether or not it is real I do not know, and how she met Tom Lefroy whom she had affections for and had almost ran away with him. But due to a letter from her servant who ardently loved her and Tom's family issues of providing for his siblings, the elopement was unsuccessful. Basically it made matters worse and she didn't get married to him! ): The guy was hot okay, like Darcy from Pride and Prejudice! Anyway, she remained unmarried and had the book Pride and Prejudice published (as shown in the movie) :)
And it was Mr. Wisley that had made the first line for Pride and Prejudice! "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife." I never knew that... or maybe it isn't even true that Mr. Wisley said that. I shouldn't mix the movie and the writings in the book together. Hahahaha
I feel quite satisfied today! :)
