Thank you Sarah, Haron, Nick, Lydia and Bainy for today's really really really nice birthday outing! :)
I never expected them to pay for my meal and they even had a chocolate muffin + icecream for me! So cute can. Hahaha
Okay so anyway. We were supposed to meet at Cck before heading off to The Cathay to watch Changeling. In the end we met at Cathay itself. Hahaha and Bainy was super early! I felt so bad leaving her there. x(
The movie (Changeling) itself was... pretty okay considering it was a true story in Los Angeles that happened during the 1940s time I think. When American people had trams instead of trains, those old kind of cars and every woman wore dresses that were as long as their ankles. It was kinda creepy when the guy murdered all the children (like blood on his face and clothes and that lunatic smile) and then he sang Silent Night right before he was hanged. Imagine Silent Night being cut off with a scream. Eeeeeish. 1/4 of the time I was hiding my face 'cos it was the murdering thingy part and Bainy was enjoying herself looking at my reaction -_- I don't think I'll ever like blood/gore/horror movies... I prefer chick flicks or funny kinds. HAHAHA. But! The movie wasn't all that bad 'cos in the end the WOMAN FOUGHT FOR HER RIGHTS! Go sisterhood! :D
Walked all the way to Art Friend to get my kite sticks and then off to Marina Square for dinner! Ate at Pizza Hut and they all insisted to pay for me :X I feel so bad can. AND THEN THE MEXICAN CHICKEN RUBBISH HAHAHA. I didn't even know until Nick told me after everything la! Anyway, we ate and ate and ate and then I was like thinking "Oh shucks, I think I'm going to be late." 'cos I was rushing off for Jo's DG meeting. But I felt so bad to leave at that moment bacause everyone made time to spend the day with me, so I decided to stay for a lil while longer. I mean like, a few minutes won't hurt right? :D AND THENNNN the lights dimmed and I remembered thinking "EH POWER CUT OFF AH." And then the birthday song started playing can! I was like NO WAYYYYY. Hahaha and I had a nice choc muffin + icecream cherry which taste reaaaally good V(^^) It was really unexpected la :D I just thought we were going to have dinner and that's it... But special people has special surprises eh. Hahahaha
Oh yeah. Before the rest of them paid the bill, Haron went "Okay those that need to pay come with me... those that don't need, Kezia you can just sit there." Hahahaha it's funny and cute la. And when we left, all the waiters and waitresses were like wishing me Happy Birthday. HAHAHA.
This year's birthday was really special 'cos I've never went out with schoolmates to celebrate my birthday before (Can you believe it, I only went with church people) and I was so touched la. Haha!
Okay so after that, I had to fly down to Toa Payoh for DG Meeting and I thought I was going to be late :X In the end I reached the same time as Arabelle and then we ran to Jo's house. Haha :D Prayer meeting was pretty good and then at the end of it all, the DGs had a special cake for me and Vincent and presents! The chocolate cake was really good as well (I'm weak against chocolate haha) but I had so much chocolate that I only had a slice. :D Fee-low-ship was great 'cos I got to know the rest of the DG people and Jo's house is really nice!! HAHAHA. Thanks to all the DG people who remembered... I was really glad :)
And thank you once again to Chan, Lee, Bai, Haron, and Nick for today! You've made my day really special <3
