Until the day breaks
And the shadows flee away,
I will go my way to the mountain of myrrh
And to the hill of frankicense.

King Solomon (Song of Solomon 4:6)It's funny how everything fits in the end.
Every single question I had for the past few months have been answered by a simple sentence. Why did I go to NYP? Why did I get certain grades for certain subjects? Why wasn't I put into a JC? Why aren't I doing well? It was all so simple after all...
Pst Kong mentioned in the Song of Solomon BS today that each and every single one of us are like bottles of perfume. If we're not broken, the annointing and the sweet smelling aroma in us wouldn't come out. Neither would the annointing flow into our lives. And brokeness only comes after a huge trial we all have to go through.
It is only by the work of God that brokeness comes, and no one knows when this trial will come. But through it all, through it ALL, once we're broken, annointing will just flow out abundantly more than we can ever ask or imagine.
Although it really is frustrating to not know why you're put through this situations, ultimately what Mordecai said in the book of Esther is true. "Maybe you were put here for a reason." It's just like how Mag was telling me that shit happens in life and there might be a reason behind it but we just don't know it. And I told her "Yeah I don't understand at all. I don't understand what's God's reason for doing it . I don't understand why I have to go through it."
After today... I do understand why. And how important it is.
The presence was so strong when knees were bent and tears were flowing. Even guys were crying left right center. The Song of Solomon series is really awesome... it is as if it's the right word for the right season for most of us in the church. I can't wait for the remaining 2 sessions! :)
